
Chess, Inc. has the following return policy.
*All Returns are subject to restrictions placed on Chess Inc. by our suppliers. Some products may not be returnable because of a supplier or manufcaturer policy or restriction. In rare cases certain return policies may change or be impacted by information that Chess does not have at time of purchase.
Restocking Fee
There is a 15% restocking fee for all returns, with the following exceptions:
Product that we have shipped in error - These prodcuts must be made within 30 days of our original ship date. Product must be unused, unopened and in resalable condition.
Product that is defective... Defective products must be returned to Chess within 30 days of our original shipment date. We test ALL products returned as defective and issue a credit if the product does not meet the manufacturer specifications. laser cartridges which test "empty" are not considered defective.
Defective equipment is returned to the manufacturer for testing. Once equipment has been deemed defective we will replace the defective equipment.
Product return instructions
Please call your sales representative at 303.573.5133 for approval prior to returning any product. Failure to contact your representative for RA authroization before returning a product will not be honored. The sales rep will be happy to provide an RA number and shipping instructions for the product. Please do not write on the original packaging. Al returns must be sent freight prepaid, Chess will not be paid by Chess and will only be credited on a Error in shipment order. Service techs are not auhtorized to pick up returns unless an RA# has already been issued.
When calling for an RA number, please have the following information ready to expidite your return request.
